Great tutorials !
I've ran up against an issue that I absolutely cannot find a solution to anywhere online...

I need a high quality (maybe high resolution) texture output in PV3D.
I'm making my textures as vectors in Illustrator CS3. The final model needs to have a kind of cell shaded effect.

The reason for this is because my model is only 200 poly's. So i'm trying to fake the realistic effect by using highly detailed vector images as textures. But the end result, in terms of resolution, is horrible.

Unless there's another way to achieve this. I'm just exporting JPEGs right now to use as bitmapped materials.

Anyone hear of a solution for this?

@Pavel
Try importing your AI file to Flash as a MovieClip, and use MovieMaterial... just keep in mind that PaperVision does not render vector results.

Thanks for the suggestion :D
I'll give it a shot.

The latest svn messed up the Gouraud Material: the lightsource is not located correctly.
